Some of the adoptable Dogs at the Sarasota Co. Sheriff's Animal Shelter.

Save the Date!

Our next fundraiser will be at Papa Nick's from 7AM til 9PM on Thursday, January 23. Ten percent of dining proceeds will be donated to LEADSRQ to benefit rescue animals in our community.

Our Mission is to help fund the medical and behavioral needs of animals in rescue organizations and shelters throughout our community.

Recipient of Giving

Our most recent Recipient of Giving is Alley,  a beautiful young German Shepherd pup that was hit by a semi. How traumatic is that? She was taken to a local shelter and from there she was pulled by Southwest Florida German Shepherd Rescue, Inc.

In the midst of this, LEADSRQ was contacted requesting support for her medical needs and we jumped at the chance to help this special girl!  This story could have had a tragic ending but we are happy to report she’s in a loving home and has been adopted.

Thank you to our supporters and contributors for making it possible for us to help her.

Dog of the Month

Beautiful two year old CeCe will delight you with her adorable, playful antics. Volunteers love how she "gifts" them with a toy when she is leashed up to walk.Speaking of toys, CeCe adores them!

She also sits and lies down on command, fetches, swims, and is an excellent walker. CeCe would do best in a household without young children.

Come meet CeCe at the Sarasota County Sheriff's Animal Shelter.
